Just a few things I am thankful for:

…the wonderful people in the library that recycle all of their own “techno-trash”, as well as books, paper, and cardboard!!!  Thank you for all that you do!!

…the Community Service Office Staff for collecting 55 lbs of aluminum can tabs and donating them to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Springfield, MA!  …Yes, 55 POUNDS!!!

…the Raven’s Nest for purchasing “Simply to Go” products, so when I purchase a healthy snack I am also donating to the Stop the Hunger Foundation!  I am also grateful to them for using compostable To-Go containers…I am on the “go” a lot!

…the Eco Club for pulling together and creating such a powerful semester!  I am so honored to know you all!!!  I can’t wait to hear who won the second challenge!  Thank you Ben and Frank for putting the challenges together!!

…Res. Life allowing sustainable programs to shine through the residential halls!  It has been so much fun meeting everyone!  Cheshire Sophomores rock!!!

…Barbara Peloquin for supplying all of our fantastic GREEN bins for bottles and cans; they are now in EVERY CLASSROOM in Marcucella and Petrocelli and are coming soon to the rest of the campus!

…the Sustainability Committee for their tireless effort to keep our commitment to the President’s Climate Commitment!  Thank you for all of your hard work!  Everyone keep your ears open for information on this year’s FREE CYLCE!!!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
